Organizing an international rhythmic gymnastics tournament IRA Creta Cup

Although a newly established sports organization, having been founded only in 2012, we are making a huge effort to develop the sport of Gymnastics in recent years in Crete.

Last year, we proudly managed to organize the 4^o Pangritio meeting Rhythmic Gymnastics with great success. More than 150 female athletes from all the sports clubs and gymnastics clubs of Crete participated, while the Stadium was overwhelmed by a crowd of people who watched the games. Our effort was supported by the Deputy Ministry of Sports, the Region of Crete, the Municipality of Heraklion and well-known healthy businesses of our city.

After this extremely useful experience as well as the organization of inter-club matches on an almost annual basis, we are now able to announce the organization of 1^ou IRA Creta Cup, an international tournament, under the approval of the Hellenic Gymnastics Federation (EGO) with the participation of teams from Greece and all over the world, the three-day 12, 13 and 14 of April 2024 in Gymnasium Stadium of University of Crete in Voutes vilage. Receiving the first encouraging messages, we estimate that there will be a huge participation and at the same time promotion of our country and especially of Crete, as an international sports destination.
